Brackets are available at hardware or home-supply stores, but they're also simple to make using our shelf bracket templates. these templates can easily be changed to suit your needs: for a larger shelf capable of accommodating a heavy row of books, enlarge the design on a photocopier; for a smaller shelf, reduce the template.. Make sure the shelf is pushed all the way back to the wall and then pre-drill four holes through the shelf and into the brackets. then drive four screws down through the shelf into the 2 x 4 support..
